"BREAD OF LIFE" PROGRAM

The mission of the "Bread of Life" program, provided by Trinity Presbyterian Church, a non-profit, faith based community organization in Key West is to feed the hungry and homeless of Key West and the lower Florida Keys.  It is in response to Matthew 25:40, which states, “The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me".  The project goals and desired outcomes are to provide a hot meal to those who have been cast off and neglected by others, the least among us, the marginalized of society, the poor and oppressed.  The service provides meals, a safe environment, and a welcoming spirit to those who are hurting; to those who are struggling to move from welfare to work, to those who do see a crust of bread, a corner of warmth, a hand up, and a transformative vision.
